Serengeti beauty

Question:
What does a girl with a new CD Rom drive, a not much to do at work and only football on TV in the evening do with herself?

She loads the Karen Stone CD Rom and wastes lots of time colouring in small foundation pieces:

I am actually going to attempt somthing like one of these designs - the fabric is collected ready for a quilting group on Saturday in Penrith.

It might need one or two additions though....!

Good luck. Much as I love New York Beauty style blocks, foundation piecing is one of my least favourite construction methods.

how timely -- I've posted some photos of my 16 NYB blocks, looking for inspiration on how to arrange them! I have the karen Stone disk, too, but haven't actually made any of hers yet.

I love these bright "fiesta" New York beauties. I'd make one myself, but I can't stick with a pattern to save my life.
